Remember that this is a literary project and will involve more than reading essays. It is good to use these topics as a guide but make sure that they will complement your overall essay topic. Reading books about each of these topics will help you on your way to writing the Aeneid book.
Facts are the key to any successful essay. What would you say if I told you that you could use words from the Greek alphabet? Would you believe me? Well, this is not just a little story that you read and want to believe but actual information that can help you with your essay. When using these facts, keep them simple and accurate but never try to fake the facts. It is a challenge to use the word, 'present' in the perfect point of view. In fact, the point of view is the very important piece of information to have with you when writing your essay. A word like 'present' is used in the sentence and generally means something has been used or happens to be in the present. Your readers will appreciate if you use the sentence, 'The Present tense of a noun describes the instant in time...' There are many facts that people need to know. I find that if I don't include the facts in my essay, it will look quite 'generic.' While research and facts are important, what is more important is writing a well written essay. Even though you are interested in facts, you still want your essay to be intriguing. This can be accomplished by choosing facts from the famous aeneid and then using them as a starting point for your essay. What are some of the other facts in the aeneid? It was written in Greek and was written around 70 BC, during the reign of Alexander the Great? The question posed by the essay is, how much can we trust what we read in the media? Before tackling essay topics, I find it helpful to make a list of these facts first. Some of these facts will come from your childhood and school but others may have been acquired later in life. I find that once I start writing, I get bogged down and start mentioning a number of facts without even thinking about how they relate to the overall theme of the essay. Make a list of facts, put it in order, and then write it. Making a list of facts is easy but do you want to keep it to a reasonable size? I have found that if you get bogged down, you can easily make the whole list wrong. You may have to make one statement wrong or use the wrong punctuation mark. Make sure you only write about facts that are important and can add to the theme of your essay. Another technique is to make the facts easy to understand and remember and then make them significant. There are always differences between what you learned in school and what you have learned in a book. Make sure you remember your facts and do not repeat them.
